Follow-up meeting email
In the work talk world, many do not see how key the email sent after a talk can be. But it’s strong for making ties better, making sure things to do are clear, and keeping things going. If you write a good email after the talk, you make sure the hard work from your talk does not get lost in the day’s rush. Here’s how you get good at the post-talk email:
Start your email with a kind word of thanks. Say you see the time and work your group gave to the talk. A simple “Thanks for being at our talk today” starts things well and shows you are thankful they came.
Go Over Key Things
List the most important things from the talk. This keeps big info in mind and makes sure all see things the same way. Use bullet points or numbers to make this part easy to read fast so people can get the big ideas without going through lots of words.
State clearly the tasks from the talk. Give people their tasks and say when they need to be done. By being clear on who must do what and when, you cut out any mix-up and make sure people will do them. This part is what people look at to know what must be done next.
Let the people at the meeting ask any questions or talk about worries they have now the talk is over. Push for an open say and let them know you want to hear what they think. By dealing with any small doubts or mix-ups, you stop bigger problems and help everyone work together.
Say What Is Next
Talk about what we will do after the talk. Say again when things should be done and how key it is to follow the plan. This part shows everyone what will happen next, making sure all stay on track and look at the big targets.
End your email with another “thank you”. Thanks the group again for working with you and for staying on the project or plan. A nice end makes a good last feel and shows working together is good.

Give Your Contact
Put your way to be reached at the email’s end. Say they can get in touch if they need more talk or do not understand something. Being able to reach you makes sure talk is easy and any issues are taken care of fast.
